What Should I Wear at Cottage Hill? Dress comfortably.
Some people dress up, but most wear casual and comfortable clothes
on Sunday mornings. Sunday and Wednesday nights are always casual.
You will never feel out of place if you come casual. We encourage
everyone to dress in such away as to always bring glory to God.
When Should I Arrive? Our morning worship service
begins promptly at 10:45. Prior to our a.m. worship service we display
announcements of upcoming events by power point on the sanctuary
video screen. Due to our limited parking space we encourage you
to arrive as early as possible. We have designated guest parking
in the front of our property to help insure our guest a good place
to park.
What is the worship? At F.B.C. of Cottage Hill
we believe in God-centered worship. We sing both hymns and praise
choruses to worship God collectively as a community of believers.
Through our music we seek to provide an atmosphere of thanksgiving,
praise, and glory to the Lord. From the majesty and wonder of the
Father, to our brokenness and redemption at the cross of Jesus;
we seek to worship the King with mind, body, and soul. We worship
Him because it is He who is worthy.
What about my children? We have a special morning
worship service for children called “Super Church”.
They meet in the “Super Church” building on the east
end of our property. While there, they will enjoy energetic and
fun music. As well as hear a powerful message from our children’s
pastor Ron Love. If you have really little ones we do provide a
nursery service located in the center building. In addition, we
have AWANAS on Sunday evening beginning @ 5pm.
What about the preaching? The preaching events
of our services are powerful and engaging. Our Pastor believes the
preaching of God’s word is central to all we do, and the foundation
for living a holy life. As a result, he takes the congregation through
a verse by verse, chapter by chapter study through a specific book
of the Bible on Sunday mornings and nights.
